i-Activsense technology is a set of highly advanced, next-generation active safety features that automatically detect the vehicle's environment, from nighttime lighting to the proximity of other vehicles, to help the driver perceive hazards, avoid accidents or reduce their severity when they are unavoidable.
BADGE MONITORING SYSTEM (BSM)
The Blind Spot Monitoring System (BSM) uses radar sensors to detect objects in your blind spot, left or right, and alerts you with a warning light in the appropriate mirror.
ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS)
When you negotiate a curve, the device moves up to 15º in the direction of the curve, improving visibility and allowing you to detect potential risks and hazards ahead.
INTELLIGENT CITY BRAKE ASSIST SYSTEM (SCBS)
At low speeds, the Intelligent City Brake Support System (ICBS) detects objects in front of the vehicle and moves the brake pads closer to the disc in anticipation of an impending stop. If the driver fails to react, the system automatically applies the brakes.
MAZDA RADAR SENSOR CONTROL (MRCC)
Mazda Radar Sensor Cruise Control (MRCC) monitors the travel speed of the vehicle in front of you and automatically changes the cruise control settings to maintain the safe distance between the two vehicles.
FORWARD OBSTRUCTION WARNING SYSTEM (FOW)
The Forward Obstruction Warning (FOW)system detects vehicles in front of you and warns you of a potential collision early enough to allow you to brake or take evasive action.
INTELLIGENT BRAKE ASSIST SYSTEM (IBS)
Avoids or reduces the severity of medium- and high-speed collisions by detecting vehicles and obstacles as far as 200 meters ahead. If it detects a potential collision, the system slows the vehicle and automatically applies the brakes.
